researchingLawyers for Natia Dzadzama, wife of Captain Avtandil Kalandadze of the Russian-flagged oil tanker Marinera (formerly Bella 1), filed a petition for judicial review at the Court of Session in Edinburgh on Monday, alleging her Georgian husband has been unlawfully detained by US forces in the Moray Firth since January 7, 2026, after the vessel was captured in waters between Iceland and Scotland.
