Nursery Worker Sentenced to 24 Years for Abusing Toddlers

Nathan Bennett, a nursery worker from Corston near Bath, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for sexually abusing five boys aged 2-3 at the Partou King Street Nursery in Bristol. The abuse occurred between July 2024 and February 2025, with concerns raised in February 2025 after his manager reviewed CCTV footage following complaints by parents and staff. Bennett was found guilty last month of multiple charges including two counts of raping a child under 13, four counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, and two charges of sexual assault of a child under 13 by penetration, after being arrested in August 2025 following a six-month police investigation. The nursery closed in December 2025.
