Iran accused Gulf states of covertly supporting US attacks against Iran while escalating its own military strikes in the region and maintaining closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi claimed on Monday that some Gulf states hosting US forces may be covertly encouraging attacks on Iranians, specifically demanding clarification on reports that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was privately urging President Donald Trump to continue hitting Iranians hard, as Iranian drone strikes escalated in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE and Iran vowed to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed indefinitely to enemies.
