A tech industry-funded super PAC is running attack ads against a Democratic candidate who worked on AI regulation legislation.

A super PAC called Leading the Future, funded by OpenAI co-founders, Andreessen Horowitz, and Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale, is running attack ads against New York State Assembly member Alex Bores in New York's 12th Congressional District, criticizing his past work for Palantir despite Bores having co-written and passed the RAISE Act, one of the first major state-level AI regulations.
